Not that much going on with the current MoR Tournament doesn't mean that we cannot have some sort of competitive event going on here!

So with an exciting sports year coming up it is about time we revived our Prediction Game again. The older site members already know what this is all about. Those can head straight to our newly installed Prediction Game Section, register there and place their bets.

I am planning to include the following competitions step-by-step in the very near future:

• Champions League (Currents Season from last 16 round starting next week)
• UEFA Cup (Prediction Game starting from next round on)[img_assist|nid=1109|title=|desc=|link=node|align=right|width=196|height=200]
• EURO 2008 (of course)
• World Cup 2010 Qualifier (of course the main thing as well. But still some time to go!)

I am planning to create some tutorials on how to sign up and play the Prediction game for the ones who have not participated in the last one. What this is basically about: You predict the exact score of football matches from the mentioned competitions and get points for correct guesses. Of course you will also gain points if you predict the correct tendency (win, loss) or the amount of goals scored. It will be less than a correct prediction of course.

There will be an overall standings table, including all predicted events as well as separate standings tables for each competition we make predictions on.

Basic Requirements:

• You will need to create a separate account for the PG
• Make sure you use the same or a similar username as you have on MoR site (otherwise you won't be accepted)
• You must not register more than one account! (otherwise: ban)
• You can create and join groups (good for clans). There will be separate standings tables for groups!

Details are going to follow soon. Everything is not set up 100% and is subject to change still. I have decided to start the whole thing despite of this so that we can get going with the Champions League round right away. Regards the next round as some sort of "Beta-Test" for the main events in the future

Of course I am open to include any event you would like to make predictions on. So feel free to make suggestions. But please take into account that the more regional an event is, the less likely it is for other people to really be able to place proper bets.
