Hello Fellow Fish-Stickers, I didn't know where to post this, but as it is potentially useful for any game, not just WiC, or even chatting without the long distance phonebills, I figured it should go public. What I am speaking of is a voice server, separate from the game which allows team-mates to talk to each other even when playing against one another. Its called GSC, its free and easy to use. It is especially good for training allowing team members to hone their skills against each other all while giving tips and improving strategy. It can also be useful in public matches or clan wars allowing teams easier and freer communication.
My brother (Major Despair) was introduced to the service by his previous clan leader and found it easy to integrate into his gaming. To get GSC simply go to getgsc.com
download and instal it, create a profile and password and then you can either create your own server or you can join anothers. Mine is gnrldisregrd - you can search that name and add me as a friend and simply enter the server. Once your in, hit Ctrl to talk to your fellow FSF mates - its that easy!
I hate to admit but I have never played RoN online but I figured it would work for that as well. If your interested or are having some trouble let me know, or just let me know what you think.

Yeah this topic has been brought up several times now we used to have our own voice server but it cost too much money.
If everyone signs up to GSC we can cross talk between ron an wic an possibly play more games together.
eg Hey Warmonger we need a Boon in RON get here stat.
This should be mandatory for all Fishies so as we have better communications and it is free it would help immensely in WIC instead of pm I could just yell at cunts hey fuckhead we have CW get ur ass out of the boon pubs.

Yes indeed we used to have a teamspeak server but we dropped it because usage did not justify the (little) costs. You guys please let me know if the gsc tool is good enough. If not we can still get the teamspeak server up and running again (costs are not that important as long as people do actively make use of it :) )

Hehe, of course costs are not that important. But it is the least that could be done if it benefits the clan. I cannot contribute a lot by playing clan games. So that's another way to support it.

I have GSC installed on my pc and it works fine I used to use it to communicate with another Clan that I Admin servers for the only thing is getting it rolled out enmasse so everyone has it.

Several of the guys have GSC now but it isnt going to work. Why bother having voice servers if I have to chase every cunt up to turn it on.
We have getgsc I suggest turning it on before we log into the game or dont bother with it at all.
