Sig logos and banners

If anyone has a good program for sig and avatars or is good at making any of the mentioned our GoRot could use some help in that area! If anyone can help that would be great. Our team is fairly new and we have not gotten anyone who is savy with that type of work. If interested or can help feel free to stop by the GoRot.com our forum! Thanks in advance for any help we might get!

Photoshop is the program I was thinking of you see my avatar ? I pulled it off the web somewhere and photoshopped it even adding the text. Apparently you can make all your logos sigs and banners with photoshop.

Easiest program I know (i always used adobe hehe) is adobe photoshop elements 6.
Just import a picture you like i dont care about copyrights ;),
then if you feel the urge to transform it somehow with your artisian skills this is the time
then click on file | save for web )
Simple as that

The advantage of saving for web is that you easily can set the maximum file size and a new (maximum) pixel size. On most websites these are restricted to a certain size when uploading your own avatar and so-on.

I can't recall the name of the application i used to make my banner tho.
I just googled some on something similar to "create animated gif".
My guess would be Ulead Gif animator 5
