Same here  But Zorn do you have any games yet, or do you still use this great machine only for movies?
Mainly Movies. Actually I have one game only: Virtua Tennis 2009. Play a few online matches once in a fortnight since they do not take much time. What about you?
I also play movies on it now. I first didnt know how it worked but its actually very simple. It works a bit stupid though. When I insert a memory stick with a movie on it and press X to open the memory stick, it says it cannot find any movies. But if I choose the triangle and choose show all then it shows. I just wish I figured this out before... :p
But still I mainly play games on it. I really like Motorstorm: Pacific Rift and I also play an old PS2 game on it, Gran Turismo 4. I also downloaded Zen Pinballl, which is also quite cool. I also liked playing Battlefield online, but my internet is a bit shitty at the moment.
how fast is the ps3 compared to the ps2 in loading games?
The PS2 games arent any faster on a PS3 than on a PS2, because the PS3 (60GB version) has an inbuilt PS2 engine, which it uses to play the PS2 games. Of course the processor used to play PS3 games is much faster, but the games are also more demanding. So it depends on the game you play. I'd say for loading a level/map the loading times are around 10-15 sec. for most games.
i got madden 09 medal of honor call of duty 4 007 and a few others if you guys ever get those games lemme kno i also got the simpsons and blazing angels a ww2 flying game

Have you tried soul caliber 4 ? I really liked the ones for the ps2 and if i ever plan on getting a ps3 this is probably the first game ill get. but ps3 game are pretty expensive ( new releases) there like around 70~usd orso. How much are they in europe?

No I havent. It doesnt really look like my type of game. In Europe PS3 games are 60 EUR. Biggest cost of console gaming is buying the games :)
