Hey Guys,
Hehe, perhaps some of you have noticed that I haven't been on RON T&P so much lately (nor on here, except for Tetris). I've just been frustrated at myself (in terms of my gameplay lately) and I think I've been pushing myself too hard to improve my gameplay too quickly...so I've decided to give RON T&P a break for a while and come back to it sometime in the next few days (hopefully on the weekend). The other problem for me is that my time zone makes it hard for me to play with most of you guys. I only see Jaguar, Zhukov, Blood of Damned (who never replies to my hellos because he's afk) and Eggs @@ so yeah, I'm still here. )
I'm also playing another addictive game right now called Trainz Railroad Simulator 2004. I am a big train fan and I dug this game up again and am readdicting myself to it. D I need to let the creative part of me run wild for now. D It's not as fast paced as most games, but the graphics can be pretty cool and I love to design so yeah...if that's your style, I totally recommend downloading the trial version (that is what got me hooked on it). I'm even thinking of getting trs2006. D

trains... is this like roller coaster tycoon where u build railroads and make roads?
I would like the trains game ....if at the end I could build colossuss and send in 250 HI to take it down.
hmmm, I don't think its a good Idea for an aussie to be playing with trains at the moment.
@ Dante...yeah sorta. You can make or download your own maps, download custom objects, drive trains, act as a railyard controller (I never got into that mode) and view your objects. It sounds very simple and easy but it's addictive and it reminds me of when I was a child and would run to the side of the train tracks to watch a passing train. The biggest problem I find is that it takes a lot of time to make a really good route (those who make really good routes tend to sell them @@ ) and that it takes a lot of cpu power as well to run a nice looking route. @@ I suspect that in 5 years, I could get a really good looking route to appear and work properly on my computer (for now I have a 1ghz processor @@ ).
Plus, I've always been creative. I'd love to set up a realistic looking city/lumber mill/farm system in RON but I never have the time and other people are just as eager to destroy that for some strange reason...D
@ Flash - you can do some *interesting* stunts in a sense in that you can make crazy roller coaster style tracks. I viewed a thread on their forum site where people would post crazy pictures of stuff that real trains obviously can't do hilarious stuff! D That's the closest you can get to taking down a collosuss, although I suppose you could run into things and pretend to cause massive destruction if that's your style. ;)

Man that sucks...I saw a few videos on youtube of idiots crossing the tracks just before a train went by. RIP...
