I have been playing this game for about 4 months already and i must say it is just great! :p
And to play it you must pay... ahm.. nothing.
-So what tip of game is it?
It is a mix of a tower/base defence game with strategy, plus a lot of team play that makes this game simply adictive i must say. you can play it right now on the format 3vs3 our 5vs5. More map formats are being developed right now. eatch 2 weeks one patch comes out, with balaces, new champions, improvements and so one, so this game is continually being suported (a litle diferent from ron suport.. ). At the start of each game you can pick a champion to play. The champion lvls goes from 1 to 18.
Each game usually takes around 25-40minutes to finish.
After each game you win a small amount of IP and XP based on the time the game taked and if you win or lose.
Your account lvl goes from 1 to 30(max) And raizes with XP. You win 1 "mastery point" and 1rune slot for each lvl you gain.
Masterys and runes are on you profile details. if you pick them they give you a very small bonus, that make efect on all you games with your champions.
With IP you can unlock new champions or runes.
It exist another type if "resource" the RP (riot points, Riot is the name of the company). With RP you can unlock champions, new skins for your champions, new runes and XP/IP boosts. For that you must speed money.
But dont worry, if you play against someone that speeded money on the game he will be as strong as you (or even weeker..).
If you played the mode of Warcraft III (Dota all stars), this game was developed by the same guys, and its similar to it, but without using the warcraft III engine, with better graphics and more user friendly.
