I might get this when/if it comes out. I think it's supposed to come out Q4? The first one was really fun.
Last thing I have heard is that it got postponed to 2010.
Definitely going to be a great RTS. My only concerns are the settings (not so much a fan of future setting) and the fact that it will immediatelly be populated by pros since it is basically designed for pro gaming.
I don't mind the settings so much. A unit is a unit. But you have a point about the pro thing. They still have huge Starcraft (1) tourneys in Korea with thousands of people in attendance.
I just don't see much else coming out in the near future that looks good. Not that I've really had time to look. Would be nice to have something at least similar to RoN.

i was reading some reviews on this game, it sounds like its going to be extremely balanced. i will prob pick it up... i played sc for years before ron came out
I do not think that anyone cann afford to not at least try it out. Blizzard is a guarantee for a perfectly balanced game and perfect online gaming (as far as technically possible).
That's what makes it all so sad: Imagine a game like RoN with the technical basis that Blizzard provides.... 
Thanks for posting the vids, I still can't beleive how long its been since Blizzard first announced it was coming out with SCII. But it finally looks like it is coming.The look Reminds me of DOW II, a little better on the graphics though. The only thing that would stop me from getting the game sooner than later, are the system requirements, and the same with Supreme Commander II to.

Are the requirements for SCII that high? I alwas thought that blizzard was known for keeping those as low as possible to make it available to as many ppl as possible.
I think the requiremtns are just about the same as red alert 3 which isnt very high
