So we agreed to have a chat with our clan's members what they'd think about a small but nice merger. (Of course under the premises that they'd join FSF and not vice versa.... FSF clan and tag is not negotiable).
That would currently mean the addition of
- _FSF_Valkyrie
- _FSF_Arcadia
- _FSF_Kaveman (all three of them already were FSF members some time ago)
- _FSF_Ryguy
- _FSF_Fear
- _FSF_Byzness
Let me know what you think.

BTW I have posted this in normal members forum since every single FSF member should be able to have a say on such an important matter.
Valk and Kave are terrific clan members who are amongst the only other clan people to even bother signing up to our forum...even though I am still a noob they will always offer me a spot in their pro games...
AFO was always a social clan as ours is...
I am sure that the other guys are also fantastic and I will personally kick off a new MSN list and skype in order for us all to get to know them.
This injection of new blood is exactly what the clan needs.

But I am not all that optimistic about the whole thing. Right now it is only Valkyrie and Kaveman who are all up for it. The others have not even commented on the suggestion.
Keeping in mind that nearly 90% of AFO are former FSF members that have left during the 'Godfather' troubles late 2005 they might actually be looking back in anger. The reason for their departure might not be here anymore. But they all got used to their AFO tag and in fact it really does stand for something in the community. I am not sure i'd like to give up my tag that easily (in fact i do know that I wouldn't ;) ).
So let's just wait and see and not get over-enthusiastic.

Hmm, i think the could join our clan. Only negative thing i see is, that after that fussion there wont be one more clan leaving the Ron community. So it will be hard to do some competetive tourney cuz there are only one or two clans left. (It remembers me a little bit at the browser war, netscape <-> explorer) If all clans merge into one big, there wont be anything to compete!
But i think it should be a good thing. So let them join.
But RoN has passed (it seems) the point of competitive team events.

I agree....right now the really only totally active std RoN clan is AW. Which has pretty much been a power vacuum, taking in all players from no longer existant clans. with the remaining clans such as AFO, AU, and us (we have been getting better however) usually only have 1 or 2 players on during the week. I dont think it would hurt if we combined, even if the clan "diversity" in the game was at risk.
