Project: WiC Server banner

A small request to our artists and gfx experts.
Imho we need a proper announcement and two banners for permanent advertisement of our new WiC Server.

I'd like to ask someone who has the skill to do 2 versions of a WiC FSF Server Banner A large one (somewhat around 400x80) for a detailed description and a small version (around 120x120) to appear on the side if the main page and serve as a link to the details page about our server, what it offers etc.

Ideally it would be the same as the one on the server itself (at least the bigger one).

Yay or nay?

Is that size in pixels, cms or mm etc??
what pics and what exact wording do you want?

I think this is one of your best works thus far Flash! Now a downsized version and you get your 100 Kudos )

Now can someone do an article about the server and - if needed - some short instructions of how to get there, maps used etc. all parameters that you want the public to know. I hardly know anything about WiC so I am not really the in the position to do such an advertisement. withstupid

Nice job. Did you check out my wifes effort. I dont like yours it is too girly when I look at it I am excpecting a bunny rabbit to jump out with butterflies etc. No offence!!
Dont you also think we should have no artillery noobs somewhere on it to discourage the most hated of WIC players the noob dual heavy artillery spawners from wrecking the games in our server? Maybe you could make a poll as to which one is better suited to our server.

Too girly? We have a sponsor child...that is not very tough either rofl. In fact the girl on there is Love - why do you hate her so? She is watching the invasion of her homeland by greedy oil hungry Texans...(no offence Eggsy).

We don't need a notice about arty noobs as you are always on hand to shout at them.

Yea but yelling dosnt do any good. I need to be made admin ey? I just dont think it reflects the game properly. A girl looking into a nice sunset with parachutes..can you make another one as it is evident yours will be the one chosen as no one including you has even acknowledged my wifes effort. banana

I have added a poll to the thread. So please people vote!

I like them both. But I must say that I am very impressed by Flash's design. By the contrast of a little and naive child's view and the invading armies it delivers an absolutely shocking view of all of the brutality of an armed conflict. More than any explosion or more explicitly brutal image could do. Love it !

We still need the rest of the (text) info for an introduction page to our server though!

I voted for Flash too. I said it was evident his would get chosen so why rock the boat... I dont know what program she used but the pics are prolly a little shitty as Yps said with his video cause they are taken from the game. Screen grabs she calls em. Hey flash where to get them wallpapers? Yours is better quality But I just dont like it ok ( please explain )..Oh yeah I made a deal with the devil ( my wife ) to get these done the deal was I had to cook and wash the dishes for two weeks in a row. That is a major deal as I have only washed the dishes prolly twice this year.. banana

Buy a freakin dishwasher, then make her unstack it.

i just googled wic screenshots and a bunch came up - does she like doing graphics? If so I'll mail you a copy of photoshop so she can get right into it...

its the wrong size wilco it has to be a certain size..read up for dimensions.
resize it ffs. its ok but the FSF symbol thing with the shark eating the log could do with a bit of work...Maybe all the designs could go on rotation at our server? Kudos for your effort wilco.
