We've been wanting it badly forever! But have they created a new one...NO wtf? Come to our website and show u care, and show u want a new Rise of Nations(which corresponds and relates to the original RON and its expansion). I am personally going to try to push Big Huge Games and THQ to create a new RON. I'll be happy if i get them to think about it. We're the gammers, we play it, we pretty much are the game...we can give them ideas, improve it (get rid of gamespy...lol doubt Big Huge would go for that but anyway...), with our ideas combined with theirs i think they can create a game that could rival AOE. We could help them advertise the game for FREE, and what company doesn't like that word...? Like i said we're the gammers, we don't just play RON...well most of us anyway we play SEVERAL if not TONS if we can get Big Huge and THQ to realize this i think we'll have a RON II on its way in no time. I'm going to try to get a petition signed and i know FSF is one of the biggest RON lovers out there so i come to u guys first come to our site and post in our forums specially created for this.

not to give anyone's hopes up or anything or to get anyone excited this may mean they r possibly looking into creating a new RON base on RON T&P or RoL or a plain new one, or it could mean nothing because BHG has been bought out by THQ Games and THQ Games is looking to have BHG create a new RPG. BHG is hiring for a ton of positions Lead Character Artist, UI Artist, Cinematics Director, Technical Rigger, Senior Environment Artist, Senior/Lead Artist, Character Animator, Character Animator (Wii), Environment Artist (Wii), 3D Artists, Art Contractors, Art Intern, UI Art Intern, Cinematics Designer, Narrative Designer, Senior Level Designer, Systems Designer, Art Producer, Producer, RPG Producer, Programmer, Programmer (Wii), and QA Lead. Most of this is for next gen systems such as the Wii, 360 and PS3 but as i was looking through the positions and requirements i stubbled upon this Push the development of RTS games through our Rise of Nations® franchise and beyond. They maybe planning a new RON as we speak but have been too busy with Age of Empires Asian Dynasty and Cantan on XBLA. This doesn't mean i'm going to stop pushing them for another RON though, i plan to mail them a letter through US Mail since their all their damn e-mails don't work at all. I still encourage everyone to try to help get us by helping with the letter and posting ideas to help BHG faster along.
That RPG theyre working on is not quite finished yet. Theres nothing really known about that game yet. And they probably wont start working on a new game before they finish that. So we dont need to expect a RTS game from BHG in the near future. Even if their next project is an RTS its probably not gonna be there before 2010 orso sad But I guess better late than never ) Dunno if that petition is gonna help much but I would support it.
when I spoke to them they said RON is old news move on...over 1 million people bought the game. Maybe even if they re-release the gold edition. With an emphasis on online game play with gay spy. Vanilla was empty the other day.

these people need to deal in 100,000s to break even - telling em 100 people want a new game is meaningless
