I have a copy of WIC that I bought about a year, year and a-half ago, but I've never played the game. I really have no clue how to play but might try it out now that I have a bit more time.
But I was wondering, I know the game has been out for a couple of years now so does everyone still play the original game or is there some kind of expansion now?

the expansion is basically wic vanilla hardly any changes made to the game at all.
The main change was in single player ( 6 added missions) and now being able to play as the russians perpective of view.
There was no added units, but there was tweak done to units ( reload times, range, speed, rate of fire, etc) and 2 additional maps , but all this is free and can be downloaded thorugh the games automatic update. So basically after you update you will technically have the expasion ( Soviet Assault).
Okay, so basically I don't have to buy an add-on or anything, just dload a patch? Thanks. I'll prob have some time to try it out next week.
Patches to be exact theres been around 12 of them, the lastest one takes around 2 hrs. So altogether ( counting all of them) maybe around 5-6hrs orso.
